Summer pottery courses 2022
People’s Pottery – 6 week Summer Courses
Join us for 6 week pottery courses this Summer. All classes in our studio are by our experienced and enthusiastic tutor Anna, studios co-founder. Short summer course is a good start if you are unsure yet about taking on a longer course, and committing for several months of working with clay. Or if you would like to see if the studio will work for you.
Our studio recently moved to a new convenient location in Deptford, and we are very excited to welcome all new students, and those who’d been a part of the studio education progamme before.
Tuesday Evening: 2 August – 6 September 2022
Thursday Morning: 4 August – 8 September 2022
Friday Morning: 5 August – 9 September 2022
Saturday Morning: 6 August – 10 September 2022
If you missed out on the class you are interested in, get in touch to be added to the mailing list or in case someone drops out.

People’s Pottery Drop-in classes
This autumn we discovered ourselves under quite a lot of pressure to make sure drop-in classes stay available. Thanks to you, our committed new makers and clay lovers we are planning 4 special drop-in sessions this season. You can book them via this page.
We know it is sometimes hard to commit to longer course, but you’d really like to try it. Or there could be an older piece of yours you wanted to glaze. We would not want to see all the exciting projects left unrealised unfinished and stuck on shelves, due to difficult work schedules, and busy lives.
So plan it in for your Thursday evenings: book your places here.

First People’s Pottery Class at New Cross!
The start of ceramics and pottery classes at new Ceramics studio Co-op rooms at New Cross is a big deal for us! We appreciate all innovators joining us early on our way! Our team used to run classes in Ceramics Studio Bermondsey, so we are not total freshers.
Of course, new premises mean better lighter classrooms and different even better vibes. We also have a great team or ceramics artists starting to work from the studio right now. It means different better workshops in the future.
We will also run weekend Drop-in sessions for limited time, so please come and join us for a day or for one of longer courses if you want to discover a maker in yourself. We totally see this as support of the values we pursue here at Ceramics Studio Co-op, and help in building sustainable community-responsible business.
Pleasure to see many new faces at our Taster Class last week. Thank you all for coming!
