A 2,5 hour glazing workshop for students who have unglazed work previously made at our classes: Throwing on Potter’s Wheel Taster, People’s Pottery Class, or Throwing on Potter’s Wheel Course.

The glazing workshop includes detailed introduction into ceramic glazes and techniques. How to choose an appropriate glaze to clay type, how to plan glazing. Pouring, dipping and brushing techniques of glaze application, and decorating work with underglazes.

All materials/firings are included in the price.

If you didn’t attend workshops at the studio before your booking will be cancelled and partially refunded.

The glazing workshop includes detailed introduction into ceramic glazes and techniques, and plenty of time to glaze your artwork. You will learn how to choose an appropriate glaze for your artwork and basic steps in planning the process. Pouring, dipping and brushing techniques of glaze application will be introduced. Students will have an opportunnity to experiemt, layer glaze and try various glazes our workshop has to offer.

BRING YOUR BISQUE FIRED WORK!

All pots glazes during the workshop will be available for collection in 2 weeks time. Pots are kept in the studio for 2 months after firings, please make sure to pick them up.

Please be aware that this ceramics workshop environment is not accomodating for children and pets, and we cannot support their presence in the workshop while you are at the class.

The workshops we run are for adults, young people under 18-years old need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Latecomers will be refused admission, please make sure you arrive to the workshop in time for the start of the session.
