All purchases from the Ceramics Studio Co-op Online Shop are subject to our Standard Terms and Conditions although it should be noted that for certain services, classes and events specific terms and conditions may apply. In such cases, the specific terms and conditions – which take precedence over those set out below. The specific terms and conditions can be found in the description of the items.

Standard Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all online transactions made with Ceramics Studio Co-op.
Ceramics Studio Co-op may change these terms from time to time without notice. Changes will apply to any subsequent transactions with Ceramics Studio Co-op.
These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The English Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with the contract.
Types of payment Accepted
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro cards using this facility. Card payments will be processed in Pounds Sterling.
The payment can be also done by Direct Banks Transfer BACS (Banks Account Clearing system), but your purchase or booking will not be confirmed until the funds have been received by Ceramics Studio Co-op.
Secure Payment
If you are concerned about the security and reliability of the service, please be assured that your payment details are automatically encrypted when you enter them.
This site is secured using a COMODO CA Limited SSL Web Server Certificate to offer you secure communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. The card payment is then handled by Stripe, a secure PCI compliant payment gateway provider.
Privacy and Data Protection
At Ceramics Studio Co-op we recognise that your personal privacy is a serious and important issue and we support the principle of protecting privacy on the Internet within the context of current UK legislation.
Ceramics Studio Co-op has tried to ensure that access to information provided and the payments you make whilst using this site are secure. Additionally Ceramics Studio Co-op uses anti-virus software to minimise the risk of infection from viruses etc.
Ceramics Studio Co-op does not guarantee that use of this website will be compatible with all hardware and software which may be used by visitors to this site.
Where information provided by you whilst using the payment service is inaccurate or does not agree to Ceramics Studio Co-op records you may not be able to make a payment using the service.
We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the correct account due to you quoting incorrect personal details. Neither can we accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason.
If the card supplier declines payment, Ceramics Studio Co-op is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. You should check with your supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.
The data that you provide during this transaction will only be used for the purpose of recording your payment. We shall abide by the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 and ensure that the data is used for no other purposes and is disclosed to no third party, except in respect of data that it is necessary to provide to Ceramics Studio Co-op’s e-commerce provider. Ceramics Studio Co-op ‘s e-commerce provider will retain some personal information so that we can access payment records in the event of queries or incomplete payment information. Any credit/debit card details given by you will not be retained in their entirety. Information will only be retained for a reasonable period and then destroyed.
Where information is presented to you from other Ceramics Studio Co-op systems it is provided in good faith but Ceramics Studio Co-op does not warrant that such information accessible from this site is comprehensive, accurate or up to date. Where information is presented within the online card payment service, it is to facilitate payment of amounts due to Ceramics Studio Co-op. Ceramics Studio Co-op separately advises fees and charges and it is your responsibility to pay all fees and charges due irrespective of how they may be shown in the online card payment service.
To the fullest extent permitted at law, Ceramics Studio Co-op is providing this website, its contents and its online payment facility on an ‘as is’ basis and makes no (and expressly disclaims all) representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to this website or the information, content, products or services included in this site.

Sale of Services
1 | Unless otherwise agreed by Ceramics Studio Co-op in writing, the price for the Services will be the price as displayed on Ceramics Studio Co-op Web Site. That price is subject to the addition of all taxes costs or charges in relation to provision of the Services, where applicable, and payment must be received in advance in all transactions. |
2 | The Buyer will make all payments due, in advance, under the contract of sale, without any deduction. |
3 | Cancellation. Please be aware that if you change your mind you have the right to cancel the online transaction within the applicable specified time limit, which is seven (7) working days from the date of agreement to proceed with the transaction, or receipt of written confirmation, whichever is the later, except where the Services have already been provided. If you do wish to cancel you must inform Ceramics Studio Co-op in writing (by letter or email). Refunds will be made as soon as possible following cancellation, or within fourteen (14) days at the latest. |
Classes and Events
1 | Cancellation of a Class or Event by Ceramics Studio Co-op. Ceramics Studio Co-op reserves the right to cancel a Class or Event or any associated event at its sole discretion. In the event of such a cancellation Ceramics Studio Co-op will refund the value of the booking or any ticket sold upon proof of purchase. Ceramics Studio Co-op expressly excludes any liability for any direct or indirect losses or damages howsoever arising as a result of such cancellation and will not, for example, be responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred. In the event of cancellation, Ceramics Studio Co-op will use reasonable endeavours to publicise the cancellation and details will be posted on the website associated with the class or event. Attendees are responsible for checking this information prior to the event. |
2 | Cancellation by you. Unless stated otherwise for the specific Class or Event, we will refund the value of the booking or any ticket sold upon proof of purchase when cancellation takes place at least one month before the conference. When cancelled less than one month but more than one week before the conference we will refund a percentage not less than 50% of the charge. No refunds will be given for cancellation less than one (1) week before the Class or Event date or for non-attendance without notification, unless a refund is made entirely at the discretion of Ceramics Studio Co-op. Notice of cancellation must be sent by email through our contact page |
