People’s Pottery Class – Student Projects
Here are some results from People’s Pottery Class, our regular evening and weekend pottery workshops. Most of the pieces here were made in the winter term this year. There is a bunch of plates made with hump moulds and few pieces thrown on potter’s wheel, examples of slip decoration and marbling.
We like to work with glaze, and encourage participants to experiment with form and decoration. One can see that with time projects become more experimental and confident. Some works in the gallery were made by students who have been attending a class regularly for several years, others were made by students taking up pottery first time by joining our 12- week course. This small selection of pieces is here to give you an idea of what can be made in our studio during our regular classes.
We are excited to see what will summer term students come up with, follow us for the updates!
More information about our regular classes are on People’s Pottery Class page.
