Our Ceramics Stall at Deptford Heritage Festival
Join us to celebrate history of our local area at Deptford Hertiage Festival!
Ceramics Studio Co-op is glad to announce we would hold a ceramics market stall at Deptford High Street on Bank Holiday 3-4 May among many other local talents and inspiring crafts people! Come and see our finest and latest ceramics produce fresh from studio kilns! The street would be closed for pedestrians, and our pieces would be available for sale!
Here is the quote from festival press release:
We will transform Deptford’s High Street and surrounding historical buildings and areas into a wonderful International festival to showcase our proud History and Heritage.
By zoning areas into a “Village” zone with Classical Music, This will also include what we hope will be the UK’s number one new platform for inspiring Poets both published and new wave.
There will be a separate “Chill out” Blues and Jazz zone, a Performance and a World music stage.
On Monday 4th May we have a giant Street Party on the foreshore, where children will have the opportunity to dress as pirates, whilst building miniature Ships to reflect the Royal Dockyard’s 500 years of Global ship building history.
There will also be a food festival reflecting the 127 cultural groups that call this part of London home.
Another event will be Historical re-enactments with a twist such as on Monday 4th May the Battle of Deptford Bridge and Deptford Broadway with 2000 performers including 12 choirs.
Find our more about the festival at the festival’s web page, or follow insightful historical updates via twitter @Deptfordhf
Join the Parade to celebrate history of Deptford and surrounding areas and remember Kath Duncan and the Civil Rights that she won for us all and the Battles of Deptford Bridge and other important struggles.
We hope to see you there of the 3-4 May!

Makers in the Studio
This is a short overview of the work that has been produced by artists and makers currently working in the studio. We are very proud to work with people displaying such a variety of creative talent and dedication to ceramic media. It may not be the full presentation of what it going in the studio, and it is just in start in terms of where are we going in terms of the experiment, but we want to give you a change to see at least some results of artist’s effort.
Some work that is presented below can be functional pieces and few of the things can be bought via artist’s personal Etsy shops. Although if you want to enquire about commissions or get in touch with artists – do not hesitate to contact the studio and we would be happy to help.
